My love for taking photographs started soon after I turned 13, during a trip to Greece where using my sister’s camera, I took my first snapshots. Not long after, I bought my first camera. Ever since I have been venturing through the different seasons and places of my life with a camera in hand.

I see myself as a world citizen, travelling around our globe, striving to discover and share the common denominator of our existence as human beings. I have walked through the streets of many European cities, trekked through the mountains of Italy and northern India, explored much of the United States, experienced the isolation of the Australian outback, the never-ending darkness and cold of the northern Scandinavian winter and motorcycled through the stunning beauty of Vietnam.

Throughout my journeys, I have strived to capture the light and essence of what makes us who we are - as individuals, communities, nations and humanity as a whole.

I have now made a base in Belgium. Creating a little family and venturing the world with my daughter, I continue my journey as a human and as a photographer.
